Dan Heng nods at Qingzu, not wanting to ignore her. She moves away to take care of whatever other tasks await and Dan Heng slides into the offered seat. He's a little stiff, but that's just how he is. Relaxing has never been his strong suit.
"There's no need to change anything on my account," he says. He doesn't feel as much need to stand on propriety after all that's happened.
He's quiet for a moment, working out how he wants to go about asking his questions.
"You're sure you're all right?" he asks, finally, softly. He can't help but feel responsible for the injuries that Jing Yuan suffered, so this matters a lot more than the dozen questions he might have.
Then he takes a breath and says what he's thinking before he talks himself out of it.
"I…wanted to talk to you about the past. I'm not Dan Feng, and I have no wish to be. But I think I've run away from this for long enough. I…want to know about him from your perspective. Jingliu and Blade are both affected by mara, and by their own anger. I think you're the best person to ask."
